CodeLaunch is an annual seed accelerator created and produced by Frisco, TX based Code Authority Custom Software. The annual competition is open to anyone with a software product concept. The deadline to apply at codelaunch.com is May 31.
After the deadline, the CA team curates the product ideas, and people who submit them. Five finalists will be invited to pitch at CodeLaunch Pitch Day & Startup Expo, August 9th. One competitor will win a MVP hackathon and other services worth more than $25K from Code Authority and other CodeLaunch sponsors.
Following the winner’s hackathon, CA negotiates a long-term partnership to continue development on a market-ready product. Local agency The Company will offer a branding and strategic marketing package including 40 hours of services and a half-day go-to-market strategy session.
Code Authority founder, Jason W. Taylor explains it this way, “We look for great people with software product ideas that offer unique business opportunities, but who need a product development team. We curate the applications and present the best five at a finalists’ Pitch Day.” All software product concepts are welcome – whether that means desktop, mobile, cloud, or other emerging platforms.
CodeLaunch enables tech startup success by providing resources during and after the competition. Since 2013, CodeLaunch has produced four annual cycles, invested in 12 companies, provided $625K in services to startups, and those companies went on to raise $1.75 million in funding.
