The World Was Introduced To Keaton Jones This Weekend, Now Let’s Send Some Messages
Over the weekend the world was introduced to Keaton Jones, a little boy from Knoxville Tennessee who was bullied so badly that his mom had to pick him up from school on several occasions before lunch. The lunch room seemed to be the place where he was bullied the most.
In a video posted to Keaton’s mom’s Facebook page, the young man talks about how he was bullied. Kids made fun of his nose, they said he was ugly. They also poured milk on him and put ham in his clothes.
Celebrities across America reached out on social media in support of the youngster.
Jarrett Guarantano, a quarterback with the University of Tennessee Volunteers, reached out to Jones and spent Sunday with the boy at the mall in Knoxville.
Delanie Walker a tight end with the Tennessee Titans invited Keaton to their New Year’s Eve game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Grammy nominated and CMA winning country artist Kelsea Ballerini, a native of Knoxville, said she would accompany Keaton to lunch the next time she was in town. He was also offered a chance to visit the UFC world headquarters in Las Vegas, where Donald Trump Jr offered to furnish his family with hotel accommodations for that trip. He was even invited to the LA premiere of the next Avengers movie.
In the Flipgrid linked below, kids, students and teachers alike can leave messages for Keaton. Have you been bullied yourself? Do you know someone who has? Let’s show the world that kids in the United States actually do care about kids in the United States.
