Pearson’s “Inspiring Brighter Futures” Highlights Emerging Technologies In Education
pearson Education, the off-line and online educational publishing giant, is gearing up for a week full of informative talks and inspiring technology at SXSWedu next week.
Under their theme for this year “Inspiring Brighter Futures” will highlight the emerging trends in technology and education that will drive the future of education. Pearson company leaders, partners and industry thought leaders will present on topics ranging from “transitioning to digital models for affordability and success”, augmented reality, virtual reality and more.
Rooted in traditional publishing for education, Pearson has grown into one of the biggest companies in the edtech space. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions, along with creating educational products under their own name, Pearson continues to innovate at the forefront of modern technology.
Pearson will be present throughout the SXSWedu festival that kicks off Monday in Austin Texas. SXSWedu is the biggest of the “shoulder” festivals produced by SXSW and sees substantial year over year growth in both presenters and attendees. Here is the complete Pearson schedule for SXSWedu:
