We all want to be super parents. We want to pretend we never forget anything when it comes to our kids, especially our babies. But like most people, busy lives mean juggling and forgetting. Then, when it’s time to recall important information about your baby you’re at a loss.
When was the last time your baby pooped? When was the last time she had formula? When did he go to bed? How long did she sleep? All of these are questions you would like to know the answer to, but they are also all questions that sometimes the pediatrician needs to know the answer to. My mom tried to stay organized, she had a little steno note pad for each of us when we were babies, she hangs on to those things to embarrass us with our significant others.
Not every mom or dad has time to jot things down in a notepad. Believe it or not we also don’t have time to remember to jot these things down in an app. The baby is fussing, they have a dirty diaper, we want to log it but getting the baby calmed down is way more important.
A Georgia startup comes to the rescue with Baby Logger.
Baby Logger is a device with a handful of easy to recognize buttons on it. The battery operated device isn’t any bigger than a phone and can easily be mounted to a wall in the nursery, you know by the light switch so you don’t forget about it.
The device has eight buttons:
- Sleep time
Whenever either parent is performing any of these actions or helping the baby with any of these actions they quickly press the corresponding button to log it. The Baby Logger then connects to a mobile app which catalogs all of that data for easy retrieval.
Baby Logger has also created Alexa commands so you can add events to your baby’s log, hands free.
The Baby Logger is a powerful tool allowing parents to keep up with everything their baby does. This helps when the baby is crying or isn’t acting right. You’ll be the talk of the town at the pediatrician’s office when the doctor asks you how often your baby is eating, peeing or pooping and you can show the exact data.
Baby Logger is a smart device for smart parenting!
You can see the Baby Logger at CES 2018 in Las Vegas, January 9-12th in Eureka Park, booth #51867 and online at mybabylogger.com
