One of Israel’s Hottest Startups Is Helping People Drink Better Water
Clean water is a big industry. There are lot’s of startups promising to help you drink better water. Most of them are through filter technology. Today, there are water bottles available that have filtration systems in them already. But what if you wanted to know what’s in your water. What if you wanted to know that the water you’re about to drink is safe, and the bottle is back home?
Enter Lishtot, one of Israel’s hottest startups. The company, led by Netanel Raisch, a serial entrepreneur and author, has created a connected device that can scan your water in a few seconds. The keyfob sized device fits right on your keychain and can help you scan your water anywhere in the world.
With Lishtot you know what you’re drinking in three easy step. Test, Drink and Sync.
The Lishtot sensor device and app help you identify problems with your water before they become disasters. You can also add your water results to a growing global water map that shows the drinking water quality info around the globe.
The Lishtot technology uses electric fields to determine what high quality water looks like. Their Testdrop and Testdrop Pro devices intercept bacteria, organics, heavy metals, pesticides, and toxins.
Lishtot can detect these contaminants:
- Tannic Acid
- Humic Acid
- E. Coli
- Pesticides like: Mefisto, Tracer Ultra, Pyrmidifen
- Small organic compounds
Lishtot tests the water in just a few seconds, giving the user immediate results. It will give the user a recommendation on whether or not to drink the water. Data is instantly sent to the Lishtot smartphone app for further analysis. Lishtot is extremely accurate and makes sure the drinking water is within the safe parameters determined by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The device is easy to use. It’s simple and straight forward and works over and over again without the need for test strips or chemicals. The simplicity of the device itself, keeps it affordable and users can use it over and over again.
You can see the future of clean water detection at CES 2018, January 9-12th in Las Vegas in Eureka Park, booth #51702 and online at lishtot.com
