A company called PassivDom has created the world’s first 3D printed, autonomous, off the grid smart house. ‘The house can heat and cool itself and even produce it’s own energy. The possibilities with the PassivDom autonomous 3D printed smart house are endless.
You can use a smart house from PassivDom as your primary residence. You could also use it as a backyard guest house, vacation home, cabin in the woods or even rent it out as an investment property. The cost of living in a PassivDom smart house is lower than anything else on the market. Features like an industrial rubber 3D printed house frame, carbon fiber, fiber glass, polarized tint and more, ensures that the house is truly energy efficient. The company says that the frame is 6x stronger than steel.
The PassivDom autonomous smart house is available in two models, the studio style modulOne and the modulTwo which includes a separate bedroom.
Inside the house connected technology allows you to control your home from wherever you are; set the temperature in the home, make sure the systems running correctly and that no one has entered without your permission.
Everything is included in the PassivDom smart house including furniture, appliances, toilet, shower and even an energy efficient combo washer and dryer. The house can be hooked up to electric and water however it comes with an off the grid hybrid solar system with battery storage. An off the grid water system is available which will take condensation from air humidity and turn it into filtered, purified water for drinking, showers an even washing your clothes.
