There were a few new additions to the 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show last week. One of these additions was a new exhibit section. Over in the Venetian, there was a whole ball room dedicated to Beauty Tech and Baby Tech. These two markets had always been represented at CES, but a dedicated, thematic space is something completely new. In this new exhibit space, we saw a ton of new and interesting products. One of these was the USJ Visible Eye Care Massager:
It may look a little funky, but this little contraption is really awesome. It provides heat, and gently massages the area around your eyes. The booth attendant told us that one of the main consumers groups they are after is those individuals who tend to suffer from digital eye strain. Day after day, looking at screens all day long can lead to some significant eye problems. These eye problems are exactly the sort of thing that the USJ Visible Eye Care Massager looks to alleviate.
By gently massaging various pressure points around your eyes, the USJ Visible Eye Care Massager works away some of the stress that can be stored in your eyes after a long day of staring at screens. Abby was able to try out the device, and ask the team a few questions. For what its worth, I had to drag her away from the massager. The device is not yet available, but the team said you can expect a crowdfunding campaign later this year.
