Kill The Wheelie Ban At CES Modobag Is Coming

modobagtop Kill The Wheelie Ban At CES Modobag Is ComingModobag took the world by storm as their videos started hitting the internet earlier this year. Modobag is the company behind the rideable luggage.

Have you ever been to a really big airport? We’re not even talking Orlando or Bush, how about Hartsfield or Heathrow. Emphatically if you’re changing plans at any large airport (Charlotte Douglas is in there too), you arrive at one gate in one terminal and then have to struggle through about 5 football fields worth of hallways to get to your next flight.

Well Modobag has solved that problem with the world’s first and only motorized luggage. Modobag can carry an adult up to 260lbs and can travel 6 miles on a single charge, making it the perfect luggage for a multi-stop plane ride.  But more than that it’s TSA, FAA and ITA compliant.

Modobag is the ultimate in convenience luggage. In addition to the choice of riding the luggage or wheeling it along like every other wheelie bag, Modobag features multiple USB ports to charge your devices on the go.  The bag itself only takes an hour to charge which means while you’re on your layover you can charge your Modobag up for the next flight.

Modobag just recently announced on Twitter that they would be exhibiting at CES 2017, the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year. CES has long banned “wheelie” bags from the show floor as they draw too large a crowd to navigate through that kind of luggage. Hopefully they’ll make an exception for Modobag, I have a feeling a lot of people will be riding around in style.
