Ellucian, a pioneer in higher education technology can trace it’s days back to the 1960s. Since the early 1980’s they’ve been catering exclusively to higher education.  Since then they’ve only done one thing and one thing well, higher education. Today, their tools like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Student Information System (SIS), Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) among others, all operate on the backbone of the Ellucian Ethos System, providing true data integration across multiple campus systems.

Today they serve over 2500 institutions across 50 countries which equates to tens of millions of students, daily.

Their technology products make it easier to manage student information from their first inbound inquiry through graduation and well past that as alumni.

This year at EDUCAUSE you’ll still be able to visit with Ellucian and see all of their great technology in action, but this year, like many past appearances, they are giving back to the community that they serve in a couple of different ways.

Next they’re encouraging EDUCAUSE attendees to salute teachers and professors that have made an impact on their lives, either in a video message or social media post.

“Which educators changed the way you view the world? Whose passion for a field or a topic ignited the fire that helped inspire your career? How did your mentors shape you?” they ask, on their webpage.

EDUCAUSE attendees can stop by booth 1400 to record a video with a brief message about that teacher, instructor or professor. For those a little camera shy, they can post their messages on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #poweredbypassion.

You can come post or record your #Poweredbypassion message and visit with the Ellucian team at EDUCAUSE in Philadelphia, November 1-3, booth #1400 and find out more online here.
