The annual EDUCAUSE conference in Philadelphia is just a few weeks away. The largest conference catering to technology, innovation and IT in higher education, kicks off with pre-conference activities on Halloween (October 31st) with the official conference running from November 1 – November 3.

EDUCAUSE continues to expand their support of innovation in higher ed technology. This year, not only are they hosting edtech startups in the Startup Alley, but they’ve also added a graduate area to the Startup Alley, highlighting companies that have grown since their appearance in Startup Alley.

Another big part of their startup support is the Under The Radar Pitch Competition. The competition will be held on Thursday November 2nd from 1:30-3:30pm in the Learning Theater in the Exhibit Hall (just three aisles down from Startup Alley).

rsmart-banner-educause Here Are The 10 EdTech Startups In The EDUCAUSE Under The Radar Pitch Competition10 startups will pitch to a diversified panel of judges. After they pitch the panel of judges, the judges will have five minutes to give each startup feedback.  The winners will be announced at 4:00pm

The grand prize winner will receive a $2500 cash grand prize, along with advertising in the EDUCAUSE Review (two full pages and one half page) and a complimentary badge registration to any future EDUCAUSE event. Also, they will have the benefit of being crowned the winner in front of the thousands of decision makers that attend EDUCAUSE.

The runner up will also receive an advertising package with EDUCAUSE and a badge registration to a future EDUCAUSE event.
