If you were in San Antonio Texas last week for the International Society For Technology In Education (ISTE) conference, you know it was like a whirlwind. The conference was jam packed wall to wall with exciting speakers, round tables, fireside chats, learning playgrounds, interactive lessons and of course the biggest exhibit hall for any edtech conference in North America.

This year’s conference saw over 15,000 regular attendees this year. When you add in the number of exhibitor attendees and exhibit hall staff that number topples 20,000 for the first time in the history of the conference. These attendees came from 72 countries. This year there were 632 student presenters, and 572 exhibiting companies in the exhibit hall also from across the globe.
There were over 159,000 tweets with the hashtag #ISTE17 (the official hashtag), 30,000 Facebook live views, 27,000 Instagram views and 929,000 mobile app opens.
