ISTE 2018: The Big Show Is June 24-27th
With many of the spring edtech shows now behind us, all eyes are on ISTE 2018 which is being held June 24th-27th at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Traditionally, ISTE is the largest edtech show in the United States. Every year over 15,000 educators converge for four days of non-stop educational sessions, panels, keynotes and the largest K-12 edtech exhibit hall in the nation. This year ISTE will have over 550 education companies presenting in the exhibit hall.
In the exhibit hall you’ll see the latest technology offerings in STEM/STEAM, 3D printing, robotics, digital learning, learning management systems, student information systems, hardware, networking components, and much more. Many of the exhibitors will hold special in booth sessions featuring teacher ambassadors and the latest in interactive hands on demonstrations.
The conference kicks off on Sunday June 24th with several mini-events including a day long conference called Tiny Tech: An EdTech Conference Day For Those Who Teach Young Learners. This conference within a conference will feature a variety of educators and thought leaders discussing the latest trends and technology being used in classrooms with our youngest students.
Although keynotes haven’t been officially announced yet we know that you’re in for a big treat. If you’re looking for content, the official ISTE 2018 program already has over 966 sessions and events. This year many of the sessions were sourced by the ISTE community via the People’s Choice call for participation.
Whether you’re a district leader, school leader, educator or even an IT professional, ISTE has created sample sessions to get your conference juices flowing. You can find those here.
All month this month ISTE is offering early bird registration rates starting at just $440 for ISTE members. They’ve also added a premium registration upgrade for just $150. Check out all of the registration options here.
