In case you missed newly appointed ISTE CEO Richard Culatta at the ISTE conference in San Antonio earlier this summer you may want to go ahead and register now for Learning 2017 in October. A lifelong advocate and policy designer for education, Culatta has been on the forefront of the education technology movement for years.
Before joining ISTE as CEO Culatta was part of the leadership team in Rhode Island. Before that he was the Director of the Office of Educational Technology for the US Department of Education where he focused on leveraging new technologies and data to create personalized learning experiences.
For his entire career John Lithgow has been a story teller, on broadway, the silver screen and the TV screen. For years he was seen every week as Dick Solomon on 3rd Rock From The Sun.
He has received two Tony Awards, five Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, an American Comedy Award, four Drama Desk Awards and has also been nominated for two Academy Awards and four Grammy Awards.
The actor, performer, writer and story teller has done work for children as well. In 1999 he released an album of children’s music called “Singing In The Bathtub”. He has also written short stories and poetry for children including, Marsupial Sue.
At Learning 2017 he will take the stage for a fireside chat with conference founder Elliott Masie where the topic will be “The Power Of Story Telling”.
