What Could Be More Patriotic Than America’s Great Principals in Philadelphia?
The National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals have joined forces to bring one awesome event to principals from across the country. The combined event is now called The National Principal’s Conference and it’s headed to Philadelphia Pennsylvania right after the 4th of July.
The National Principals Conference is as much about collaboration among the nation’s best principals as it is lectures from thought leaders and others. The NAESP and the NASSP have hinged the National Principal’s Conference on five focus areas:
- Professional Learning Your Way
- An Open Space To Address Real Change
- Working Together To Build Transitions For Student Success
- Transforming Your Executive Leadership
- Unparalleled Solutions and Networking
With the new administration in Washington DC and the new Secretary of Education, one of the highlight events at The Principal’s Conference is “The State Of American Education”.
They’ve also transformed the traditional exhibit hall into “the hub” where administrators can network with one another, fuel up on refreshments in between sessions, see some of the latest technology and products for schools and enjoy some great innovative learning opportunities. Administrators will be able to go hands on with some of the hottest products for K-12 schools in “The Innovation Lab”.
To kick off the National Principal’s Conference, the Pennsylvania Principal’s Association is hosting a 5K to support the PA Leadership Foundation. Principal’s will get to run up the famous steps that are featured in the Rocky Movie, now that’s going to make an epic picture for your office when you sit two students down to give them detention.
If you missed ISTE 2017 in San Antonio than you’re going to want to make sure your bags are packed for the city of brotherly love. If you refuse to get up off the beach for this conference you can definitely keep up to date by following @nibletztweets on Twitter.
