New Orleans Entrepreneur Week Set For March 19th-23rd Chalk Full Of Amazing Content
Startup Weeks and Entrepreneur Weeks are a mainstay in several entrepreneurial ecosystems across the country. Some of our favorites include Austin Startup Week held every year in the fall and Phoenix startup week, that’s wrapping up now. New Orleans Entrepreneur week is another one worth attending, even if you don’t live in the heart of New Orleans. New Orleans Entrepreneur Week is more of a regional event rather than a hyper-local event.
The theme for this year’s New Orleans Entrepreneur Week is “Connect In A City Like No Other”. While the theme is focused on connecting those in the New Orleans entrepreneurial ecosystem, their connections beyond New Orleans and throughout the Delta region have led to some big collaborations, investments and events. New Orleans Entrepreneur week is also a great time for those from the Delta region to hunker down and prepare for Collision later on in the Spring, that brings over 25,000 entrepreneurs from 5000 companies and 120+ countries to town.
This year’s New Orleans Entrepreneur Week will feature a “dynamic lineup of keynote speakers, presenters and partners.” according to NOEW Executive Producer, Victoria Adams Phipps.
Kevin Lin, co-founder of Twitch,Gabrielle Toledano, chief people officer at Tesla, Jim Coulter, founding partner and co-CEO at TPG Capital; and Kevin Dawson, vice president of GE Digital are just some of the featured speakers for this year’s event.
The Idea Village will host a two day NOEW Summit with educational sessions, keynote speaker, pitch competitions and networking events at the Contemporary Arts Center and at The Shop, Idea Village’s shared work space, on March 22-23. Events will be held across the city all week long as well, hopefully connecting even more entrepreneurs at events closer to their homes or work spaces.
New Orleans Entrepenur Week is one of the oldest week long celebrations of entrepreneurship in the US. They’re celebrating their 10th year this year.
