Startup Grind’s Global Conference Kicks Off February 12th in Silicon Valley
Chances are if you’re reading nibletz, you’ve probably been to a local or regional Startup Grind event. Startup Grind is known for their rock solid speakers and networking events connecting local and regional startups with investors, mentors and influencers.
In 2012 when Startup America was still a thing, Derek Anderson and Startup Grind started to emerge as local events highlighting startups. Today There are over 300 chapters in 120 countries. Startup Grind is designed to educate, inspire and connect entrepreneurs and they do a very good job.
Once a year the global Startup Grind movement takes over Silicon Valley for a three day conference celebrating entrepreneurship globally. We’re not just talking global hotspots either like Silicon Valley, London, Taiwan and Tel Aviv. Startups are coming from far and wide, big and small towns, rural and metropolitan areas to collaborate grow and learn together.
This year’s event kicks off Monday February 12th and runs through Valentines Day. Known for their great speakers at local chapter events, Startup Grind has assembled over 140 of the greatest possible speakers on the topics of entrepreneurship, innovation, startups, accessibility and more for the three day event.
Some of the highlighted speakers include Linkedin Founder and Greylock Partner, Reid Hoffman, Recode founder and former WSJ tech journalist, Walt Mossberg, Khosla Ventures’ Samir Kaul, Ian Brock with Beyond The Cookie, Paypal co-founder Max Levchin and many more.
Over 50 startups will be exhibiting, literally from across the globe.
