For administrators, OOHLALA provides real-time analytics and intelligence on their campus through a dashboard, enabling them to take action (such as push-notifications and personalized messaging) and proactively engage their students.” The company told nibletz.com in an interview.
OohLaLa knows college.
The team behind OohLaLa knows the college life experience because the idea for the company was born while one of the four founders was doing work for the University of Tornoto. They had to find a way to engage an incoming class of 8,000 with just three people working on the project. He thought of a way to scale communication and engagement with the current generation of college students. Today’s college students check their mobile devices over 150 times per day and use them for 5+ hours per day.
