What is Appellita?
Appellita provides intelligent brand name generation and name validation tools to make your brand name meaningful, memorable and unique.
Who is your target user?
Entrepreneurs, bloggers and businesses launching new products.
Why did you build Appellita? What problem are you taking on?
Initially, the web tool was created to help me name my projects because I realized how time consuming it was to create suitable names. All the names I thought of were taken and the endless searching delayed launching my previous projects. It might seem hard to find a good name, but we are solving the scarcity issue around .COM domain names. The brand name generator is able to generate 100s of relevant domain names.
How is your product different from what is currently available?
Appellita is the easiest way to discover a suitable name for your startup and confirm trademark and social media availability. We are with you all the way through the naming process.
We have a powerful approach to understanding your brand and uncovering names. With your one-sentence pitch and your choice of styles and industry, our intelligent brand name generator will create relevant word combos, blends and use other creative naming techniques and output a ranked list of domain names.
Among our other tools , we also offer a comprehensive federal trademark search to help assess your names’ availability. This trademark search is more thorough than a basic search because it searches for misspellings, phonetic variations, alternative word placement or anything that might be confusingly similar.
Tell us your founding story. Was there an “ah ha” moment?
I’ve used some name generators but their results were too random. I wanted something that made sense for the brand I wanted to build. Then the moment happened, I wondered about creating a generator that uses the same techniques and methodologies that branding experts use.
Tell us about your founding team and their backgrounds.
