Why did you build Hatch? What problem are you taking on?
We are addressing the problem that the majority of businesses write marketing plans in Word, build presentations in Powerpoint and forecast in Excel which everyone knows is painfully slow.
How is your product different from what is currently available?
We provide a high level overview of your marketing campaigns across all channels, allow you to assess your gaps and priorities through a searchable calendar, and make it insanely simple to create a playbook full of your marketing campaigns.
Tell us your founding story. Was there an “ah ha” moment?
As a consultant, I was spending a ton of time working for clients and producing calendars, dashboards, and-play books for marketing teams. I began searching for a tool which would efficiently provide those deliverables, but couldn’t find one that didn’t cost a fortune so I set out to build the tool myself.

Jason Kallas, Founder / CEO
In the past, Jason has built and successfully sold a marketing agency, spearheaded the formation of design organizations, taught university courses, partnered with clients in over twenty countries, earned international recognition, and delivered innovative solutions for clients including: Mountain Dew, General Motors, Royal Caribbean, Samsung, and others. Jason has 15+ years of experience leading marketing teams with a focus of architecting evidence-based marketing programs, leading cross-functional teams, and managing multi-channel campaigns that span all stages of the customer journey.
Kevin Bauman, Founding Advisor / Technology
Kevin is a trusted technology consultant, adviser, and an experienced application and website developer. For the past 14 years, Kevin has owned and operated Studio 4130, a full stack web development agency providing a range of clients with both front-end and back-end development, project management, and server and database administration.
