What is LovetheSales? offers online shoppers a quick and easy way to see every item on sale from 100’s of retailers and 1,000’s of brands. We bring everything together in one site so comparing prices and offers is easy and you can browse over 300,000 products in one place. – every sale, one site.

Who is your target user?

We aim to help anyone who has certain brands and products they are after. Most people have an affinity with certain brands and will choose those over others. What they don’t know is that any day of the year, 15% of retail products are on sale. We help them unearth those products and take advantage of the sales more easily.

Why did you build LovetheSales? What problem are you taking on?

As a young father I was always look to make the most of my money so my family could have everything they wanted. To do that, I shopped the sales a lot. It took hours to look through site after site to find the best products on sale – I realised there had to be a better way of shopping the sales online. We are removing the stress and time consuming behaviour required to shop online sales.

How is your product different from what is currently available?

Firstly, we are the first to offer the sales to shoppers in this way. Secondly, our range of products is vast – there are few sites that can compete with over 300,000 products.

Tell us your founding story. Was there an “ah ha” moment?

The founding team all had senior roles for companies so we knew working in our spare time was the way to start. We spent many an evening and weekend working on the site. Once we had an MVP we put it out and generated a few £1,000s of sales. This made us realise it was a sought after product so we set about building a full version. Once this was ready we started to generate sales and then sought funding. We closed a 6 figure seed round in May 2015 which allowed us to go full time on the project. We have grown exponentially since then and are now looking to secure Series A.

Tell us about your founding team and their backgrounds.

The founding team is made up of the 3 core skills required to manage a product like ours – Developer, Product Manager and Digital Marketer. We all held senior roles at household name companies in the UK. Our background has seen us work on sites with over 1 million users, 15 million sessions a month, £50m plus in revenue and we have managed the teams delivering that.
