Former MyON CEO Chris Bauleke Takes Helm At Renaissance As Acquisition Completes.
Back in March we reported that the digital reading platform we know and love (especially our 10 year old edtech reporter), MyON had been acquired by Renaissance. MyOn started as a division of Capstone and was spun out on it’s own.
The acquisition of MyOn was just the beginning of a deal that culminated with Francisco Partners, a private equity firm acquiring Renaissance and installing Chris Bauleke the former CEO of MyOn as the new Renaissance CEO. Baulke brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to the CEO role at Renaissance. As CEO of myON, Bauleke led the expansion of the company’s digital content solutions, and helped myON increase its number of student users by 30 percent. Prior to myON, Bauleke helped grow and scale leading healthcare services and information technology companies, serving as CEO of Healthland, and in various executive leadership roles at McKesson.
