Did You Leave The Stove On? Inirv React Can Fix That

Inirv-React-Top Did You Leave The Stove On? Inirv React Can Fix ThatHave you ever left the house, driven about 30 minutes down the road and had a feeling you may have left the stove on? What did you do? Did you turn around and check, cutting off important time in your day? Or did you wing it and pray the house wouldn’t burn down? Yes the leaving the stove on conundrum is a huge source of anxiety for many hard working adults. Inirv React may help.

If you did happen to leave the stove on and you didn’t go back to the house to check there’s potential for a horrible situation. Of course leaving the stove on could cause a catastrophic fire. It could also cause a large gas leak that could set off an explosion after the littlest spark.

Leave it to a neurosurgeon to solve this safety issue. Ranjith Babu and Akshita Iyer are the brains behind Inirv a new startup looking to solve important household safety issues with technology. Babu is a resident neurosurgeon with a passion for improving the lives of others. Babu previously co-founded a biotechnology company that developed a device for the minimally invasive treatment of brain tumors. He however, seeks to save lives not only through medicine, but also by improving the safety of everyday devices. Iyer has had a long interest in entrepreneurship and has had extensive experience running a business. She previously performed numerous critical roles in a successful engineering firm and has acquired numerous valuable skills that ensure the success of a company.

Inirv React attaches directly to existing gas and electric stove knobs. Using Bluetooth technology along with sensors the system is able to detect hazardous situations and help prevent fires and gas leaks by stovetops that are left on.

“Being able to showcase Inirv React at CES will help us educate others on the dangers of kitchen fires and how our product can help keep you and your family safe,” said Inirv Cofounder Akshita Iyer. “With Inirv React, you will finally have peace of mind when it comes to the safety of your family and security of your home, even while you are away.”

Inirv react’s motion sensor works with a timer to determine if a stove has been unattended for too long. A default timer setting is immediately activated when the stove is turned on, however, a touch-sensor on the knob units allow users to alter the timer setting so the stove doesn’t unnecessarily turn off. In addition to its safety features, Inirv React’s Wi-Fi capability allows users to control their stoves remotely via smartphones and receive real-time updates regarding their kitchen environment.

Coupled with existing prevention devices in the connected home Inirv React will help consumers better peace of mind whether they’re leaving the house for work or to go on vacation.

Inirv will debut the Inirv React at CES 2017 in Eureka Park booth 50827
