Washington DC’s Inclusive, Innovation, Incubator (In3) Opens April 17th, With A Bunch of Events Already Planned
Back at South By Southwest when we visited the WEDC house we got a chance to talk with KellyAnn Kirkpatrick, the program manager of Washington D.C’s new In3 incubator. She explained that the mission of the incubator is to offer a more inclusive, diverse place for entrepreneurs in the area.
The space is part incubator and part co-working, surrounded by bootcamps, training and mentorship programs. In3DC will also provide workshops and events that range from development and IT, to business development, raising funds, talking to investors and financial literacy. They will also host a wide range of competitions like hackathons and pitch contests.
Kirkpatrick told us during the interview that at South By Southwest they would announce when they would officially open the doors. That date has since been revealed and it’s next week Monday April 17th. When they open the doors they are jumping right into the programming that both Kirkpatrick and founder Aaron Saunders promised.
