5 Gainesville Startups Hosting Showcase To Raise Money For The Homeless
On Friday June 9th, 5 Gainesville startups are hosting a startup showcase. The showcase will operate like similar events. Each of the five startups will pitch their company to a room full of startup enthusiasts, and the local business community. SharpSpring a startup that makes powerful marketing automation affordable for everyone, is the host of the startup showcase. This is their third annual event.
“The Gainesville Tech Startup Showcase will help raise funds for local homeless services initiative, GRACE Marketplace. GRACE, the site of a former state prison, is a 25-acre homeless services campus with a mission to end homelessness in Alachua County. SharpSpring hopes to bring more awareness to GRACE’s project and inspire Gainesville tech companies to contribute to local causes.” SharpSpring said on their website.
The other four startups joining the show case, are Feathr, Paracosm, Digital Brands and Bed By 10. Doors will open at 7:30 and Feathr pitches first at 7:45. Several sponsors have chipped in to donate prizes for raffles that will be held in between startup pitches. The $10 donated for entry will all go to the GRACE Marketplace.

Donations will be accepted at the door for entry or can be made in advance here to reserve your spot.
