With Christmas now past us, CES is quickly approaching, at least that’s what 5000 marketing folks have told us in the last few days. The 2016 CES kicks off on January 6th with a few press and VIP events, beginning January 4th. This years conference runs until January 9th.
The Consumer Technology Association is the trade association representing the $285 billion dollar consumer electronics industry. The convention, the biggest in the western hemisphere, encompasses just about all of the Las Vegas strip with thousands of companies exhibiting.
All those exhibitors don’t leave much time for panels. However, one of the big panels to check out this year is called “Forecasting The Future Of Entrepreneurship”.
The past decade has seen so many new startups and entrepreneurs. Companies, products and jobs have been created at a rapid rate while in some cases 8x as many failures have also occurred. A renaissance of sorts has happened across the nation sparking people to start something themselves.
One of the biggest advocates of that has been America Online founder and Revolution founder, Steve Case. Case will join startup rockstars Nicholas Woodman (Founder of GoPro), and Stewart Butterfield (co-founder of Slack) in a panel moderated by ABC News’ Rebecca Jarvis. The topic is what’s in store for the future of Entrepreneurship.
