Huntsville Alabama based startup organization, Rocket Hatch is preparing for their second annual “Will This Fly” startup pitch event. The event is part of a half day of startup and entrepreneurial activities at the newly branded Campus 805.
Right now they are having an open application period here. From there they plan on selecting 20-25 semifinalists that will come to Huntsville and have an opportunity to pitch in the final event. Rocket Hatch is targeting “entrepreneurs involved in early-stage ventures that have not received significant funding yet and would benefit by connecting with angel investors and accelerators from around the South East.”
After selected, semi finalists will be able to use Rocket Hatch’s online mentoring platform. Mentors will help each startup company refine their pitch and create the best pitch possible for the event.
From 1:00-5:00 on May 7th, the day of the event, each selected semi-finalist will have an opportunity to showcase their company in the Will This Fly “startup village”.
Pitches will commence at 6:00pm with awards and a celebration starting at 7:00pm.
