Tennessee’s huge startup and culture conference 36|86 is back this year June 4th through 7th in Nashville Tennessee.

The festival that celebrates entrepreneurship and great southern hospitality is named after the latitude and longitude coordinates for Music City USA, Nashville Tennessee.  LaunchTN the organization behind the conference, positions it to butt right up to the kickoff of Bonaroo, one of the biggest music festivals in the country (starts June 8th).

Conference go-ers will enjoy keynote speakers, fireside chats, a startup exhibition and a startup competition called Village 36. The 36 startups chosen for the competition will pitch in front of a standing room only crowd with some of the most active early stage investors. They’ll also be competing for $50,000 in total prize money.

Each year 36|86 gets bigger and bigger. The conference, that once partnered with Tennessee native Sarah Lacy and her blog, Pando Daily, has thrived since the partnership ended three years ago.

This year 36|86 has some heavy weight speakers that will inspire all of the entrepreneurs, startups and founders in attendance.  Some of the speakers include:

Steve Case, the billionaire founder of AOL , who champions for startups “everywhere else” through his Rise Of The Rest Initiative will keynote.

Frederick Smith, the man who got a D on a paper in college outlining his idea for packages delivered by air, and turned Fedex into a billion dollar organization.

Jeremy King, CTO at Walmart. Walmart has gone head first into startups this year, launching a retail startup incubator and making several key acquisitions across the country.

Derrick Morgan, Tennessee Titan angel investor and entrepreneurial ecosystem builder. This year Morgan partnered with Atlanta’s Rodney Sampson to create Opportunity Ecosystem and launch it at South By Southwest earlier this year.

Tickets are still available, and there are even options for housing at just $100 while supplies last.
