The Nation’s Premiere Branding Accelerator Now Accepting Applications For 2017
We’ve been covering The Brandery since 2012. Year in and year out the Cincinnati based startup accelerator program produces some of the best consumer facing startups in the world. Startups like ChoreMonster, Modulous, and Flight Car are amongst the ranks of notable alumni.
Situated in the world headquarters for consumer products, The Brandery draws from the experience from Proctor and Gamble, Kroger, Macy’s, The Cincinnati Reds and many other national companies based locally.
For the first time in seven years, The Brandery is refining their cohort for 2017. They are looking for digitally native brands and companies that offer technologies to complete them. Think of products that started online and could benefit from the experience of consumer and retail driven relationships and mentorship.
Brandery General Manager Tony Alexander gave examples of what they are looking for this time around in Oros, a Brandery graduate (and company we featured last year) that is making outerwear using NASA created technology, and Goodwipes, which are portable wet wipes for adults.
They are also looking for retail and marketing technologies.
“When the Brandery started, we cast a wide net during recruitment, with the goal of drawing great talent to Cincinnati,” Alexander said in a news release. “The StartupCincy ecosystem is now far more established, and with the learnings from past years and further support from sponsors like P&G, we can get laser-focused on leveraging what our region is best at.”
Brandery 2017 applications are open at F6s.com through April 29th.
